The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and ensuring the safe execution of all lifting operations on site. This role ensures that lifting activities comply with approved lift plans, company procedures, and industry best practices to prevent accidents and equipment damage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all lifting operations on site
  • Review, approve, and implement lift plans and risk assessments
  • Ensure lifting activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and international standards (like OSHA)
  • Verify that cranes, lifting equipment, and accessories are certified, inspected, and fit for use
  • Ensure operators, riggers, and signalers are competent and authorized
  • Conduct toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings
  • Monitor weather, ground conditions, and site constraints affecting lifting operations
  • Stop lifting activities if unsafe conditions or practices are identified
  • Coordinate with crane operators, engineers, and site management
  • Investigate lifting incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain lifting records, permits, and documentation

Qualifications & Certification

  • Diploma certificate
  • Minimum -3 years experience in lifting operation
  • ADNOC Approved-4days training certification (OHS-ST/CP-19)as a lifting supervisor
