Job Summary:

We are urgently hiring a Lifting Supervisor with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the UAE Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing lifting operations safely and in compliance with UAE regulations, company procedures, and international lifting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations at site in accordance with the approved lifting plans.
• Ensure all lifting equipment and accessories are inspected, certified, and in safe working condition.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings with riggers and crane operators.
• Verify that all lifting crew members are trained, competent, and certified.
• Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and HSE teams to ensure safe lifting practices.
• Monitor high-risk or critical lifts and take corrective actions where necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including lift plans, checklists, and incident reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the UAE Oil & Gas industry.
• Valid Lifting Supervisor certification
• Sound knowledge of rigging practices, crane operations, and lifting safety standards
• Proven experience with critical lifts and heavy rigging operations.
• Familiar with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and safety documentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in harsh site environments (onshore/offshore).
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
