QHSE Supervisor (Oil & Gas)

Petrochem Performance Chemicals (PPC) , part of Mazrui Energy Services is looking for a dynamic QHSE Supervisor to demonstrate, lead and promote safety leadership across multiple sites.


Petrochem Performance Chemicals (PPC) specializes in drilling fluids and associated equipment services. We provide the provision of cost effective, customized technical solutions in the drilling and completion fluids, solids control, filtration equipment, and waste management services.

Key Responsibilities/Duties :-

  • Coordinate with the QHSE Manager, MES QHSE Director and BU general manager regarding QHSE concerns.
  • Consult, advise and direct operations in matters relating to QHSE.
  • Perform incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and report findings.
  • Liaise with client QHSE representatives regarding on‑site QHSE matters.
  • Maintain internal and external reporting according to established systems.
  • Participate in and coordinate site QHSE meetings (Toolbox Talks, pre‑tower meetings, etc.).
  • Initiate and participate in regulatory, certification and internal QHSE audits.
  • Ensure adherence to company QHSE guidelines and standards.
  • Conduct ISO, API Q2 and supplier audits and act as the management representative for external audits.
  • Administer company ISO, API Q2 and other quality certifications and oversee QA/QC activities.
  • Ensure compliance with MES requirements and bridging documents at all locations.
  • Develop, maintain and update evacuation plans, procedures and measures.
  • Provide timely information to management on accidents and incidents.
  • Monitor compliance with HSE schedules and perform inspections.
  • Coordinate with site management on implementation of the Quality Management System.
  • Lead and advise on implementation of STOP/TWAKAF and stop‑work authority programs.
  • Update QHSE communication boards regularly.
  • Oversee implementation of operational systems such as Control of Work/Permit to Work, Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out, MSDS, PPE, working at height and H₂S awareness.
  • Monitor emergency readiness through drills and act as the on‑scene man in charge during emergencies.
  • Carry out hygiene inspections and maintain lifting and slings registers.
  • Monitor compliance with travel/journey management systems.
  • Conduct visitor and employee inductions for office, site and camp.
  • Develop, update and deliver QHSE training and maintain training data.
  • Monitor and advise management on in‑vehicle monitoring system (IVMS) data.
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly QHSE reports as per MES procedures.
  • Fulfil any other delegated responsibilities within competence and safety limits.
  • Lead and implement sustainability, ESG, and CSR initiatives under the guidance of the Sustainability Team Leader, while monitoring and controlling sustainability budgets.


Experience :-

  • 5 years’ experience in safety or QA/QC profession with at least 2-3 years in oil & gas industry
  • Advanced knowledge of quality and HSE auditing and audit report preparation.
  • Advanced experience in maintenance of safety equipment and inspection requirements.
  • Advanced experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.


Academic Qualifications :-

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher secondary education
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or NVQ equivalent.
  • IOSH Technical membership as minimum, Graduate or Chartered Membership. preferable.
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Internal/Lead Auditor. preferable.
  • API Q2 internal/Lead Auditor. preferable.
  • ADOSH or OSHAD Practitioner - preferable.
  • ADNOC Approval - preferable.
  • UAE Driving License with own car is mandatory.
