Job Summary
As a Facilities Operations and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, monitoring, and technical support of critical facility systems including HVAC, Elevators, Fire Alarm Systems, and UPS systems across Telecom Egypt facilities. The role includes front-office and back-office activities, vendor management, incident handling, preventive maintenance follow-up, and coordination with regional maintenance teams and contractors.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor HVAC, Elevator, Fire Alarm, and UPS systems to ensure service availability and operational continuity.

Follow up preventive and corrective maintenance activities across assigned facilities.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and SLAs.

Investigate system alarms, incidents, and operational failures and identify root causes.

Support emergency response activities related to critical facility systems.

Review maintenance reports, inspection findings, and technical documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and Telecom Egypt policies.

Prepare operational dashboards, technical reports, escalation records, and performance analysis.

Participate in testing, commissioning, and acceptance of new systems and upgrades.

Support asset lifecycle management activities including replacement, refurbishment, and condition assessment.

Coordinate with regional engineers, technicians, procurement teams, and facility stakeholders
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.

0–3 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, MEP systems, or building services.

Good knowledge of HVAC systems, Fire Alarm Systems, UPS systems, and Elevators.

Understanding of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting methodologies.

Knowledge of facility operation standards and safety requirements.

Ability to work in front-office and back-office operational environments.

Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
