Light Vehicle Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers or cargo
• Plan routes using GPS and traffic updates to ensure timely arrivals
• Load and unload goods or assist passengers with luggage
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and schedule regular maintenance
• Monitor fuel levels and refuel as needed
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs
• Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly
• Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate to vehicle type (e.g., CDL for trucks)
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Proven experience as a driver (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
• Familiarity with GPS devices and local roadways
• Ability to lift heavy packages or assist passengers
• Strong communication and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
• Multilingual abilities (especially in customer-facing roles)
• Experience with delivery apps or fleet management systems
