Driver Job Description – UAE

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to join our technical services team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in driving light and heavy vehicles, ensuring timely transportation of staff, materials, and equipment while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles (light vehicles, vans, pickups) for transporting manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of staff to project sites.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, regular inspection, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to UAE traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Coordinate with the logistics/procurement team for material deliveries and collections.
• Keep daily records of mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs.
• Report vehicle issues, breakdowns, or required servicing to management.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials where required.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with clients, staff, and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE driving license (Light Vehicle mandatory)
• Proven experience as a driver in UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
• Punctuality, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a technical services/MEP/civil contracting company.
• Familiarity with transporting manpower and construction materials.
• Basic English communication skills (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus).
