Light Vehicle Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and dependable Light Vehicle Delivery Driver to transport goods and food items to customers and business locations in a timely and professional manner. The driver will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering products using company-provided light vehicles while ensuring proper handling, hygiene, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company-assigned light vehicle (van or small truck) to deliver goods and food items.
• Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Ensure timely delivery to customers, restaurants, stores, or distribution points.
• Confirm delivery details, obtain signatures, and collect payments or receipts when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle, especially when transporting food.
• Comply with food safety and handling regulations during transportation.
• Report any delays, vehicle issues, or delivery problems to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in delivery of both dry goods and perishable food items.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity with using GPS or delivery mobile apps.
