Light Vehicle Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Driver to transport goods or passengers safely and efficiently. The Driver will ensure timely delivery, maintain the vehicle in good condition, and follow all traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, staff, or clients
• Follow assigned routes and schedules
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
• Perform routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, tires)
• Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Assist with loading and unloading if required
• Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle issues immediately

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (appropriate category)
• Proven experience as a driver (preferred)
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
• Ability to operate GPS/navigation systems
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit (if loading/unloading is involved)
