Job Summary:
The Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of products to customer sites while strictly following company procedures, safety standards, and customer requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency and upholding the company’s service quality and reputation.
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
- Complete the daily vehicle maintenance checklist before departure; report major issues immediately to the Fleet Supervisor or Mechanic.
- Clean the vehicle before each trip and share photos (all 4 sides) in the designated cleaning group.
- Adhere to RTA and company driving regulations at all times.
- Report accidents, technical issues, or breakdowns to the Fleet Supervisor on the spot.
Delivery Operations
- Follow dispatch schedules and commit to delivery timings provided by the Sales team.
- Notify the Fleet Supervisor immediately in case of delays.
- Execute safe and accurate offloading procedures at customer sites.
- Provide fuel samples to customers when requested.
- Obtain customer signatures on delivery notes and share copies in the deliveries group.
- Remain on standby for any sudden changes in schedule and be available for coordination.
Customer Interaction & Compliance
- Comply with customer rules and regulations at their premises.
- Report unusual customer requests to the Fleet Supervisor.
- Handle spillages according to safety procedures and clean the site with proper materials.
- Maintain professional communication and cooperation with clients and site representatives.
Training & Development
- Participate in mandatory trainings organized by governmental authorities, third parties, or in-house programs.
- Continuously improve safety knowledge and driving skills
Requirements:
- Valid LMV Driving License (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the diesel distribution or related fuel delivery field.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to cooperate professionally with all levels within and outside the organization.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify abnormalities promptly.
- Responsible, safety-conscious, and adaptable to operational needs.
