Light Vehicle Driver-Manual

• Vehicle Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle (e.g., car, van, or 3-ton pickup truck) with a manual transmission.
• Transportation/Delivery: Transport goods, materials, or passengers to assigned destinations following specified routes and schedules.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes using maps or GPS systems to avoid traffic and meet deadlines.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Documentation: Ensure all vehicle documentation, delivery paperwork, and logs are properly maintained and accurate.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company safety policies, maintaining a clean driving record.
• Loading/Unloading (if applicable): Assist with the manual loading and unloading of goods or cargo, following safety and lifting protocols.

Requirements and Qualifications

• License: Must possess a valid UAE Manual Driving License (Category 3).
• Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 2-3 years of professional driving experience in the UAE, often specifically with 3-ton vehicles or in a similar industry (e.g., logistics, construction, hospitality, or delivery services).
• Skills: Sound knowledge of local roads and routes in Dubai/UAE, the ability to use GPS, and good time management skills.
• Physicality: Physical fitness and the ability to handle manual labor (e.g., lifting cargo) if required.
• Language: Good communication skills, usually in English (speaking/reading/writing).
• Personal Traits: Reliability, punctuality, and a strong safety-oriented mindset.
