Lighting Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Lighting Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lighting principles and techniques, with the ability to create innovative lighting solutions for various projects. As a Lighting Designer, you will collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to develop lighting concepts that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of spaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive lighting designs that align with project goals and client expectations.
• Create detailed schematics and drafts for lighting layouts using CAD software.
• Utilize Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper for advanced design modeling and visualization.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate lighting solutions seamlessly into architectural designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess lighting needs and ensure proper installation of lighting systems.
• Prepare 2D animations and graphic design elements to present lighting concepts effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in lighting design.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and schematic development.
• Experience with Rhinoceros 3D and Grasshopper for design modeling.
• Strong mechanical design skills to create functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions.
• Ability to produce 2D animations that effectively communicate design ideas.
