About the Role

Gamma Lighting is seeking a skilled Lighting Engineer specializing in facade lighting and control systems. The role focuses on designing, programming, and commissioning dynamic lighting systems using DMX, SPI, and DALI protocols across architectural and large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop facade lighting systems for architectural, commercial, and landmark projects
• Program and commission lighting control systems using DMX, SPI, and DALI
• Create dynamic lighting scenes, effects, and sequences for exterior applications
• Prepare lighting layouts, control schematics, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure project delivery
• Conduct on-site testing, troubleshooting, and system optimization
• Ensure compatibility between fixtures, drivers, and control systems
• Support clients and consultants with technical presentations and solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in architectural/facade lighting
• Strong hands-on experience with DMX, SPI, and DALI systems
• Knowledge of lighting control software and programming tools
• Experience in commissioning and site execution
• Ability to read and produce technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel for project commissioning

Preferred Skills

• Experience with pixel lighting and media façade systems
• Familiarity with international lighting standards
• Experience working on GCC projects
• Basic knowledge of CAD, Dialux, or similar tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
