Lighting Inspection Specialist

JASARA PMC is looking for a skilled Lighting Inspection Specialist to ensure that all lighting systems in our infrastructure projects are installed and functioning according to the highest quality and safety standards. As a Lighting Inspection Specialist, you will conduct thorough inspections of lighting installations, evaluate lighting design compliance, and work closely with project teams to address any discrepancies. Your expertise will be essential to maintaining the performance and aesthetic integrity of lighting systems across all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of lighting installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and applicable codes.
• Review lighting plans and specifications to verify the correct installation of fixtures, controls, and wiring.
• Document inspection findings, including any non-compliance issues, and provide detailed reports to project managers.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve issues related to lighting installations.
• Provide recommendations for corrective actions and enhancements to meet project quality standards.
• Stay up to date with industry standards, lighting technologies, and inspection best practices.
• Participate in quality assurance meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting inspection or quality control in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of lighting design principles, installation best practices, and relevant codes.
• Experience conducting field inspections and evaluating lighting installations.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with lighting design software is a plus.
