Lighting Sales Engineer – Lighting Manufacturer & Supplier

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in lighting or electrical solutions, excellent client‑facing skills, and the ability to translate technical requirements into practical, high‑value proposals.

This role combines business development, project coordination, and technical sales—ideal for someone who understands both the engineering and commercial sides of the lighting industry.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with consultants, contractors, developers, and end‑users.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers in the Saudi market.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Promote company lighting solutions across architectural, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Technical Sales & Project Support

  • Understand project specifications, BOQs, drawings, and lighting requirements.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and compliance documents.
  • Provide product selection support, value engineering options, and alternative solutions.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and competitive offers.

Market & Project Coordination

  • Track ongoing projects from design stage to award and execution.
  • Follow up with clients, consultants, and contractors to secure approvals and close deals.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments in Saudi Arabia.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.

Sales Administration

  • Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and project pipelines.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Support after‑sales coordination when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in lighting or electrical sales (GCC market experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of LED technology, drivers, optics, and lighting applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Valid Saudi or GCC driving license (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
