Duties

• Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and refining existing recipes
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas throughout your shift
• Support food preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper portioning, plating, and presentation
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality output

Experience

• Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
• Experience working in fine dining environments or catering services is advantageous
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are essential
• Knowledge of the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality control
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
