Line Cook

Premier senior living community, Evergreen Fountains, is in search of chef. The ideal candidate will have experience, leadership abilities and follow-through.

Hours: 11am-7pm - Sunday- Thursday

Requirements:

• Have a tender heart for the senior population
• Minimum of two-year experience preparing meals for a large group (will be preparing meals for 170 residents)
• Ability to mitigate complaints in a gracious manner and take constructive feedback
• Ability to lift up-to 50lbs
• Experienced in the operation of kitchen equipment: commercial steamer, convection oven, standard gas/electric range and grill, meat slicer, mixer/grinder, commercial dishwasher, cooking utensils and more
• Must be able to fully pass a DSHS background check
• Provide superior customer service to our senior population ensuring an enjoyable dining experience
• Prepare and serve meals from a scheduled menu in a timely fashion
• Relieve cooking duties of the Chef/Dietary Manager
• Note menu changes, list substitutes, and make menu suggestions on forms in absence of the Chef/Dietary Manager
• Supervise the proper storage and labeling of all useable leftovers
• Other duties as assigned
