Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials that excite our guests.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Support food service operations by plating dishes attractively and timely for service.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, demonstrating solid culinary skills.
• Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus.
• Strong knife skills with the ability to prepare ingredients quickly and safely.
• Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Pay: $22.88 - $27.56 per hour
