Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at our bustling restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices

- Cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines

- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards

- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen manager

- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all sanitation guidelines

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment

- Proficient knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques

- Strong understanding of food handling and safety procedures

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Knowledge of menu and meal preparation

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
