Redz Restaurant: Line Cook

• What will I be doing?
• As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation of food using the recipes and menu items created by the Executive Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly. Your key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with stocking and setting up kitchen stations
• Accepting and storing of food, produce and beverage deliveries
• Preparing food including cleaning, cutting ingredients, and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
• Plating prepared foods based on the Chef's guidelines
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing of all equipment at the end of each shift
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
• Great communication skills are a must, as is the capability to work as part of a dynamic team. Are you someone who has tons of energy, great attention to detail, and an awesome personality?
• Line Cooks must be able to lift 15-50lbs, stand for the length of the shift, and keep pace with our guests from casual lunches to packed Saturday nights.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Restaurant: 2 years (Preferred)
