Duties

• Prepare ingredients and components of dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with meal assembly, ensuring timely and accurate food presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently handling food prep tasks
• Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
• Contribute to menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods
• Assist in catering events or special functions as needed, supporting overall food service operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dietary department, restaurant, or food industry setting preferred
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food service operations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
