Summary:

The Linen Room Technician is responsible for assuring an adequate quantity of linen is maintained throughout the hospital by restocking and delivering clean linen to all parts of the hospital.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• High School diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in hospital linen procedures preferred
• Hospital cleaning/linen procedures experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Must possess good communication skills both written and verbal and able to understand and accurately follow instructions
• Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with vendors and staff
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Must be able to work well with others
• Must be cooperative and dependable
