Liner Hanger Service Engineer

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Liner Hanger Service Engineer to support liner hanger and completion operations across Saudi Arabia.
• This role is responsible for the preparation, execution, and technical support of liner hanger jobs at the rig site, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery in line with client expectations and company standards. The Liner Hanger Service Engineer, when not working in the field, is required to work at the workshop as requested by supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Operations
• Execute liner hanger and completion operations at the wellsite.
• Prepare, assemble, test, and mobilize liner hanger systems and related tools.
• Ensure proper installation and functionality of equipment.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide real-time technical solutions.
• Support related activities such as cementing and completion operations.

Client Interface

• Act as the primary point of contact with the client at the wellsite.
• Provide technical recommendations and operational support.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain effective communication between field and office teams.

HSE & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments.
• Promote a strong safety culture at the worksite.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot liner hanger tools.
• Ensure all equipment is tested and ready prior to deployment.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.

Reporting

• Prepare pre-job and post-job reports.
• Document operational performance and lessons learned.
• Provide feedback for continuous product and process improvement.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of liner hanger systems.
• Familiar with mechanics, hydraulics, drilling, cementing, completion, and common downhole tool applications.
• Works effectively in collaboration with workshop technicians to ensure tool assembling, testing, inspection, disassembling and redressing are completed as per company standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve field issues independently.
• Good with common office software (Word, Excel and PPT).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Experience

• At least 5 years and 50 jobs of liner hanger operation experience.
• Travel to rig site is required.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
