The opportunity

We are looking for lawyers with strong backgrounds in commercial contracts, finance, technology, construction, project finance and development, and corporate M&A.


Our assignments typically involve:

  • Supporting Linklaters’ clients in Abu Dhabi or Dubai in full-time roles, usually lasting around six months
  • Opportunities for flexible or remote working arrangements, including assignments for clients in Saudi Arabia


Who we’re looking for


We encourage applications from lawyers who:


  • Have carefully considered the personal and financial implications of working as an independent legal consultant, and understand how this career path differs from permanent employment
  • Approach assignments with a consultant mindset, demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, and a proactive outlook
  • Are qualified to practise in the UAE and hold a current practising certificate (or local equivalent)
  • Bring robust legal experience from a leading law firm, or from in-house roles or secondments (regional experience is a plus)
  • Are available to start promptly
