Educational Qualification:
Graduation (With Specialization)- LLB

Post Graduation: (With Specialization): A master's degree in law will be an added advantage.

Any Other (Certification / Diploma etc.)

Work Experience (Years) in treasury activities.

5 -7 (Minimum) (Maximum)

Job Responsibilities

  • To prepare draft replies, applications, evidence, affidavits, writ petitions related to consumer, civil, commercial, arbitration, criminal, industrial disputes/ labour matters and other specialized litigations/ matters.
  • To efficiently handle and regularly update the management on the status of various litigations pending at various fora/courts/tribunals.
  • To advise, appear and represent the Company in various proceedings before courts /Tribunal /Commissions and other Govt. Authorities
  • Coordinate with lawyers and internal stakeholders/ functions for preparing replies/submissions and follow up with lawyers/consultants for managing end to end litigations filed for and against the Company
  • Advise busine team on the day-to-day queries related to legal issues /litigations
  • To conduct or coordinate research on legal issues & update stakeholders on the new judgements/ laws.

Competencies / Skills

  • Professional ability to interpret laws and find solutions to complex legal issues and handle litigations
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and within tight timelines
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter and able to function independently in a “hands-on” environment. and he should be familiar with court process and handling litigation in corporate houses.
  • Should have excellent analytical, execution skills and practical experience of handling litigation before various forum.
  • Must be familiar with roles & responsibility of an in-house counsel and able to work in close knitted team.
