Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing a diverse caseload, providing exceptional legal representation to our clients, and contributing to all aspects of litigation from pre-trial preparations to trial execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of litigation strategies
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation throughout the litigation process
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
• Prepare for trials by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and developing trial strategies
• Participate in depositions and other discovery processes
• File motions and other court documents in compliance with legal procedures
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage evidence effectively
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active state bar membership
• 2+ years of experience in litigation or a related field
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with trial preparation and court filings
• Familiarity with discovery processes and deposition techniques
