Litigation Associate Attorney - Employment Law (CA Bar License)

Employment litigation firm located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles looking to fill an Associate Attorney position. The firm is looking for an associate with experience primarily focusing on employment law cases to help with the firm's busy caseload and grow with the firm.

Applicant must have excellent professionalism and communication skills, be a self-starter and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a docket of active cases from inception to resolution
• Maintain client relationships
• Law and Motion work
• Court appearances
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct case related investigation and develop case strategies
• Prepare, propound, and respond to discovery
• Handle all aspects of litigation

Job Location

• Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid and Remote Options)

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree and current good standing with CA State Bar is required
• Experience in employment law, including FEHA, wrongful termination, PAGA and wage-and-hour cases on an individual, class and representative basis
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate persuasively both orally and in writing
• Ability to exercise rationality in complex situations
• Adaptable and meticulous attention to detail

Pay

• Salary Commensurate with experience
• Supplemental Pay
