Litigation Attorney

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team at an established (30yrs+) Bay Area personal injury firm. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to effectively draft legal documents. .

We Provide:

Cases generally worked up through demand stage.

100% of case costs

Some paralegal and administrative support on a case-to-case basis

40% of attorneys fees

Hourly work also frequently available.

You:

CA State Bar license in good standing

7+ years of personal injury litigation experience (managing discovery, depositions, motions), mediations, arbitrations.

Trial experience is a major plusStrong client communication skillsLocal to the Bay Area and familiar with its courts

Duties

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with precision and attention to detail.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
• Prepare for trials by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation practices.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the law.
• Maintain accurate records of case files and ensure proper documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in litigation
• Exceptional writing skills with experience in legal drafting.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Prior experience in a law office setting is a must.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
