Join the dynamic Tampa office of Alvarez Thompson & Smoak, P.A. where we're seeking an accomplished litigation attorney to strengthen our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a diverse caseload while working alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Location: Tampa, FL (In-office position)
Experience Level: 4+ years of litigation experience required

What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing
• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience in Florida
• Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in legal research, writing, and drafting
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads effectively

Your Key Responsibilities

Case Management & Strategy

• Lead litigation matters from inception through resolution, ensuring efficient and effective outcomes
• Develop and execute strategic case approaches tailored to client objectives
• Provide regular case updates and maintain clear client communication

Legal Research & Documentation

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials
• Ensure all documentation meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance

Client Representation & Advocacy

• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Leverage strong advocacy skills to achieve favorable outcomes
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships through exceptional service

Pay: $105,000.00 - $155,500.00 per year
