Trott Law, P.C. has an immediate opening for a full-time, Michigan licensed, Litigation attorney. The position involves significant courtroom appearances. Attending meetings, depositions and conferences representing the interests of the firm’s clients. Preparing pleadings, motions, orders and other legal documentation for filing, while maintaining an active litigation file load in a fast-paced legal environment. Applying legal analysis and industry principles to complex case issues in a clear and concise manner demonstrating the ability to appropriately persuade the intended recipient of the communication to adopt a particular point of law or proposed resolution.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
• State Bar of Michigan license to practice law.
• Must be accurate, detail-oriented and organized.
• Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Professional verbal and written business communication skills are essential
• Professional verbal and written legal skills and analysis are essential.
• General computer skills, such as knowledge of Lexis, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the internet, and general office software

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid work schedule working from home and in the office.
• Traveling will be required to attend court, meetings, depositions
