Litigation Attorney

<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. <Responsibilities>

• Manage all phases of litigation cases, from initial investigation through trial and appeal, ensuring thorough preparation and strategic execution.
• Conduct detailed legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal arguments.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related correspondence.
• Advise clients on a broad spectrum of legal issues including estate planning, environmental law, family law, landlord-tenant disputes, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury claims, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and immigration law.
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution processes to achieve favorable outcomes while minimizing litigation costs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings with professionalism and confidence.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to develop comprehensive legal strategies tailored to each case’s unique circumstances.
• Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with all procedural rules and deadlines.
• Stay current on evolving laws and industry trends relevant to litigation practice areas through ongoing research and professional development.

<Skills>

• Extensive experience in litigation across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and immigration law.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw; strong research skills to support complex casework.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive legal documents and arguments.
• Advanced legal drafting capabilities for pleadings, motions, contracts, and settlement agreements.
• Solid negotiation skills to facilitate favorable resolutions outside of court when appropriate.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of the litigation process from initial filing to resolution; familiarity with courtroom procedures is essential.
• Experience with legal administrative tasks such as maintaining case files and tracking deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant laws governing land use, tribal regulations, patent rights, employment standards related to workers’ compensation or personal injury claims is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis; familiarity with legal administrative systems is a plus. Pay: $97,786.55 - $117,764.45 per year
