We are seeking an enthusiastic and independent civil litigation attorney to focus on general litigation matters, including but not limited to estate and business litigation, and a billable hour requirement of only 1400 hours per year. Responsibilities

● Drafting pleadings, briefs and motions;

● Performing and attending depositions;

● Preparing, producing and reviewing discovery demands;

● Preparing and delivering oral argument;

● Develop case strategy;

● Attending trial, hearings, arbitration and mediation;

● Client Communication.

Requirements

● JD Degree and admitted in NJ;

● Civil Clerkship;

● 4+ years of litigation experience;

● Ability and experience independently managing a civil litigation matter from consultation to resolution;

● Excellent client communication skills with a strong sense of empathy for client situations;

● Ability to manage client expectations;

● A positive attitude and independence to manage their own day.

Bonus Experience (Not Required)

● Estates and Trusts litigation experience
