Litigation Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking immediately seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team in Rochester, NY. This full-time position is ideal for an attorney with 3–5 years of complex litigation experience within a law firm setting. The role offers the chance to handle sophisticated cases and gain exposure to both municipal and state court matters. Relocation assistance is available on a case-by-case basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and argue motions effectively in state courts.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including document production.
• Manage and oversee document review processes.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Support litigation strategy and case management, particularly in municipal law matters.

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New York State.
• 3–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm.
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
