What you will be doing:

• Represent creditors and real estate secured lenders in litigation matters
• Handle cases from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Make court appearances (remote and in-person)
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and updates
• Analyze complex legal issues and propose effective solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams across corporate, securities, and transactional practice groups
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and documentation

Experience you will need:

• 3–15 years of litigation experience (required)
• Creditor representation experience strongly preferred
• Background in real estate litigation is a plus
• Experience with Unlawful Detainer and/or Bankruptcy proceedings is beneficial
• Strong legal writing, research, advocacy, and client communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Customer-service oriented and solutions-driven
• Active California Bar membership (required)
