Litigation Attorney

Overview
Jackson Law Group, a rapidly growing Roswell-based multi-practice law firm, is seeking a litigation attorney to join our insurance defense team. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of civil litigation experience in the insurance defense field. Must have strong time management, organizational, clerical and writing skills and be able to work in an energetic and fast paced environment. Candidate should be comfortable with all stages of insurance defense litigation including, filing answer, preparing and submitting case evaluation reports, communicating with clients and insurance adjusters, conducting discovery, retaining and communicating with experts, taking and defending depositions, motions practice and have prior trial experience.

Jackson Law Group does not have a billable hours quota. pre-existing book of business is a plus. The selected candidate will be encouraged and supported in building their own book of business.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
• Punctual
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Clio and PDF software;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Professional demeanor and customer service oriented;
• Strong ability to problem solve;
• Excellent writing skills;
• Excellent legal research skills;
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel;

Education and Experience Requirements:

• At least two years of litigation experience preferably in the insurance defense field
• Bachelor's Degree
• J.D.
• Active and in good standing with State Bar of Georgia

Hours

• Full-time; Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 P.M.
• This is an in-person position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
