Litigation Attorney

A reputable and long-established plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join their Norfolk-based team. This position is ideal for an attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience handling Virginia-based personal injury cases. The ideal candidate is not only well-versed in personal injury law but also confident in guiding and mentoring legal support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation from case intake through trial.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and ensure high-quality case handling.
• Mentor and supervise paralegals and support team members.
• Handle negotiations, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Maintain accurate documentation using case management software.

Requirements:

• Licensed and admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• Strong knowledge of Virginia automobile insurance law and claims processes.
• Skilled in interpreting medical records and evaluating injury claims.
• Effective communication and trial advocacy skills.
• Experience with legal software (Neos preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
