Litigation Attorney - Construction

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to family law, environmental law, and personal injury law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in court and other legal proceedings while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in litigation matters across various legal domains including family law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, and personal injury law.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with precision and clarity.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations including estate planning, workers' compensation law, securities law, patent law, and tribal law & regulations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to develop case strategies.
• Provide legal administrative support as needed to ensure efficient office operations.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of court procedures and rules.
• Familiarity with various areas of law such as environmental law, family law, immigration law, and personal injury law is preferred.
• Strong research skills with experience using legal research databases like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
