The Opportunity
- Title: Insurance and Financial Services Litigation Associate
- Salary: 140,000–202,000 USD (DOE)
- Location: California (Remote or Hybrid – must live in CA)
- Level: 3–8 years’ litigation experience
What You’ll Do
- Manage and assess insurance and financial services claims, from investigation through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, subpoenas, and other core litigation documents.
- Collaborate with in-house clients, experts, TPAs, opposing counsel, and witnesses.
- Take and defend depositions; assist with trial and arbitration prep (motions in limine, jury instructions, trial briefs, witness prep).
What We’re Looking For
- 3–8 years of litigation experience, ideally with ERISA, disability, life, health, or fraud exposure.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; minimum 3.0 GPA if under 5 years’ experience.
- Active member of the California State Bar.
- Strong self-starter with excellent writing, research, and analytical skills, and confidence handling deadlines.
