Role Overview

• Hours: 15–20 hours/week to start, with potential for more and eventual transition to W-2
• Pay: $60–$70/hour, depending on experience
• Location: Mostly remote, but candidates must live in the Raleigh-Durham area
• Schedule: Flexible, with general availability during business hours and only rare evening/Saturday needs
• Practice Area: Regulatory/administrative work representing professional licensing boards and individual professionals
• Structure: Independent contractor to start; malpractice insurance included
• Training: Provided for new practice areas

What We're Looking For:

• Licensed by the North Carolina State Bar
• 1–2+ years of legal practice (litigation experience preferred)
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
• Comfortable handling hearings, conferences, depositions, and drafting a range of legal documents
• Ability to work independently and communicate confidently
• Familiarity with state and federal e-filing is a plus
