Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Litigation Counsel to join our legal team in Saudi Arabia. This role will primarily support various business lines on a wide range of contentious dispute matters, including civil, commercial, administrative litigation, labor arbitration & litigation, and other ADR proceedings.

The ideal candidate shall be capable of handling dispute resolution cases independently, and play a key role in designing and managing litigation strategy, providing practical legal advice to management and headquarters, and coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external counsel.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee various litigation matters, including commercial disputes, labor cases, and other contentious proceedings across Saudi Arabia

Develop litigation strategies

Review and analyze claims, evidence, and legal documents to support case preparation and decision-making

Represent the company in interactions with courts, arbitration centers, and relevant authorities where applicable

Maintain an adequate and high-quality resource pool of external law firms, and work closely with external counsel to ensure effective case handling

Provide proactive legal advice to business teams on dispute risks and mitigation strategies

Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams on dispute-related matters

Monitor legal developments and provide updates on litigation trends and regulatory changes
Qualifications:

Qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia

Minimum
7 years of relevant experience
in litigation or relevant areas

Arabic speaker, with fluent English proficiency (both written and spoken) as a working language

Solid experience in handling all types of legal disputes

Strong understanding of Saudi legal and judicial system

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple cases independently in an organized fashion

Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications (Will Be a Plus but not a must):

Diverse professional background, including experience in law firms, in-house legal teams, and/or judicial institutions (e.g., courts or prosecutorial bodies) in Saudi Arabia

Overseas education experience in an English-speaking country

Experience working with or advising multinational companies

Familiarity with e-commerce, platform businesses, or fast-growing tech environments
