Key Responsibilities:

Litigation Management:

  • Handle civil, and regulatory litigation related to land and property.
  • Represent the company in courts, tribunals, and before authorities, either directly or through external counsel.
  • Draft and review legal notices, plaints, written statements, affidavits, petitions, appeals, and other pleadings.
  • Attend court hearings, land tribunal sessions, and follow up with advocates.

Legal Risk Assessment:

  • Assess litigation risks in land acquisition or development projects.
  • Provide legal opinions and advice on potential disputes or ongoing litigations.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies.

Documentation & Due Diligence:

  • Verify and vet land documents to ensure clear title and legal ownership.
  • Coordinate with legal consultants for title search reports, 7/12 extracts, RTCs, encumbrance certificates, etc.

Coordination:

  • Liaise with government authorities (Tehsildar, Sub-Registrar, Town Planning, etc.) and external law firms.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders like land acquisition, business development, and compliance teams.

Compliance & Record Maintenance:

  • Ensure compliance with local land laws, RERA regulations, and real estate statutes.
  • Maintain updated records of all ongoing and closed litigation cases.
  • Maintain a litigation tracker and provide periodic reports to management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
