Litigation Medical Case Assistant

We specialize in car accident cases and are currently seeking a qualified Medical Case Assistant to join our Litigation team. This Medical Case Assistant position provides the opportunity to work in a professional, energetic environment with a supportive team.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Medical Case Assistant to support our Litigation department. The Medical Case Assistant will assist litigation assistants and paralegals with case organization, medical record management, and file updates to ensure cases progress efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Assist litigation assistants and paralegals with on-demand tasks
• Update case files in the legal case management system
• Prepare case files before appearances
• Organize medical records and bills
• Create and update medical record summaries
• Create medical billing summaries
• Update missing information in client files

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience working in a personal injury law firm
• Familiarity with reading and understanding medical and billing records
• Familiarity with health insurance subrogation
• Ability to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

Schedule:
This is a full-time position with an 8-hour workday. Employees may select a consistent start time between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
