Hilley & Solis Law Firm is seeking a Litigation or Personal Injury Legal Assistant to become a part of our team.

We are looking for a self-motivated person that can yield results while working under pressure, quickly learn the job, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is someone with experience working independently while managing a high-volume workload. Said candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile for our clients while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude. Previous legal experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

• College degree is a plus

• Prior experience working in an office, preferably in a legal setting (1 year min.)

• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

• Analytical skills and detail oriented

• Case management and organizational skills

• Excellent customer service

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and with a team

• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

• Maintaining regular communication with clients

• Assisting with Property Damage

• Reviewing and organizing records and filings

• Requesting medical records

• Maintaining both physical and digital files

• Managing attorney's calendar

• Managing deadlines

• Filing in State and Federal Court

• Preparation for depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Base compensation package:

• Starting Salary commensurate with experience

• Discretionary bonuses
