Litigation Paralegal

Sanders & Parks, PC has an immediate opening for a highly organized, detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal. Responsibilities include:

Assist in the oversight of case files and coordination with staff members to comply with Court deadlines.

• Retaining of medical experts in various specialties, requiring research and communication skills.
• Assessment of medical records and discovery materials in order to provide information to attorneys to assist in the defense of the clients.
• Attendance at regular team meetings with attorneys to strategize regarding case related issues.
• Obtaining information for, and drafting of, legal documents including disclosures, reports to clients and written discovery.
• Internet research for discovery purposes including the use of Westlaw.
• Assist attorneys with preparation of materials for client meetings, depositions and hearings.
• Responsible for trial preparation including collaboration with attorneys to identify exhibits, use of trial software to prepare exhibits to be submitted to the Court and organization of the file for use during trial.
• Attendance and support/assistance at courtroom trials, including jury selection, electronic presentation of exhibits and assisting with preparing witness examinations.

Candidate must have at least 5 years of law firm experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures and filing requirements, including e-filing in all Arizona State and Federal Courts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
