Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our growing personal injury lawfirm. In this role, you will provide essential support for complex litigation cases across various practice areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, including motor vehicle and trucking accidents, workplace accidents, slip and falls and more. Your proactive approach and strong legal research skills will help streamline case management, document review, and legal drafting processes. Duties
- Assist the lead attorney with case preparation by organizing and managing legal documents using document management systems such as Casepeer and Dropbox.
- Draft, proofread, and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage case files efficiently through data entry, filing, and document review to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordinate interviews with clients, witnesses, or experts to gather pertinent information for ongoing litigation cases.
- Support project management tasks by tracking deadlines, court filings, and court schedules to ensure timely case progression.
- Maintain communication with clients, courts, and external partners via professional phone etiquette and email correspondence while providing executive administrative support as needed.
Requirements
- Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting with familiarity in litigation support functions.
- Experience with legal case management software preferred.
- Proficiency in document review, legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and contract preparation.
- Familiarity with a wide range of practice areas including personal injury law, including auto and trucking accidents, work injury accidents, and more.
- Experience using document management systems like CasePeer and Dropbox a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong research skills combined with the ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly and effectively.
- Effective communication skills for interviewing clients or witnesses and coordinating with team members professionally.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
