Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Support Specialist to provide administrative and legal support to the Legal Department within a large, structured organization. This position plays a key role in supporting litigation activities, maintaining organized case files, coordinating court-related schedules, and assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
The Litigation Support Specialist works closely with legal counsel, risk management personnel, operational leadership, and external parties to ensure accurate documentation, timely filings, and efficient case management. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in legal support, litigation support, or related administrative role

Experience assembling and maintaining litigation files (electronic and hard copy)

Experience preparing legal documents including complaints, discovery requests, discovery responses, pleadings, and related materials

Experience coordinating court filings, mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials
-
Experience e-filing and e-serving legal documents
-
Experience reviewing and organizing medical billing records and related documentation
-
Experience maintaining case status reports and tracking litigation deadlines
-
Ability to gather and compile documents from multiple departments for legal responses
-
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes
-
Ability to type at least 50 words per minute with accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced word processing functions and PowerPoint

Ability to operate standard office equipment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive legal and personnel information

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
