We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Remote Live Chat Support Agent / Specialist to provide exceptional online customer service through live chat. In this work-from-home role, you will assist customers by answering questions, resolving issues, processing requests, and providing accurate information in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate has excellent written communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries through live chat and messaging platforms.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, orders, and company policies.
  • Resolve customer concerns by identifying issues and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Process orders, returns, exchanges, cancellations, and account updates.
  • Follow established customer service standards and company procedures.
  • Meet or exceed productivity, response time, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve customer support processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
  • Previous customer service, live chat, call center, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written communication, grammar, and typing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to learn new software and customer support platforms quickly.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
