Live-In Nanny

LIVE-IN NANNY OPPORTUNITY | ANN ARBOR, MI Start Date: September 1, 2026

A respected physician family is seeking an experienced, warm, and proactive live-in nanny to become a long-term part of their household. This role focuses on caring for a bright, creative 5-year-old girl and a new baby arriving July 2026, in a well-supported and thoughtfully run home.

The family resides in a beautiful Georgian colonial home on 2.5 private acres in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A housekeeper and caretaker are on staff, allowing the nanny to focus fully on childcare. The home also includes a small dog and a cat. The nanny will be provided a private bedroom with a bathroom (bath shared only with the children).

The position is full-time, 11 hours per day, 5 days per week, with schedules provided in advance. Responsibilities include age-appropriate activities and outings, nutritious meal preparation for the children, nursery-related duties, and support with key developmental milestones such as sleep routines, potty training, school readiness, and homework. Travel is required 1–2 times per year for 1–2 weeks at a time, including trips to California and Arizona.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of professional nanny experience, with live-in experience preferred, is comfortable working as part of a household team, and values collaboration with busy physician parents. Candidates must have a clean background and driving record, current CPR certification, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth in a structured yet loving environment.
