Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate childcare for children across different developmental stages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences, incorporating meal planning and cooking skills.
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, reading sessions, and age-appropriate teaching to promote learning and development.
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, diapering, and potty training to ensure comfort and hygiene.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment by performing light housekeeping duties related to children’s spaces and belongings.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns with confidence.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting caregiving approaches to foster inclusion and comfort.

Experience

• Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles with a strong background in caring for infants through preschool-aged children.
• Familiarity with toddler care routines, infant care techniques, and early childhood education methods.
• Experience working in daycare settings or similar environments that emphasize child development and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification if needed.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Prior experience in meal preparation for children along with cleaning duties related to childcare is highly valued. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $7.00 - $22.00 per hour
