Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.
• Support early childhood education by implementing fun educational games and teaching basic skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to child care, including tidying up toys and children's areas.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary, handling minor injuries or health concerns promptly and effectively.
• Work with families to understand specific needs, routines, and preferences to ensure consistent care.
• Occasionally assist with transportation to activities or appointments as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with children by providing encouragement, patience, and emotional support.
• Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate about the child's progress, behaviors, or any concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently while administering basic first aid if required.
• Experience with meal preparation suitable for young children’s nutritional needs.
• Comfort with light cleaning duties related to child care environments.
• Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills who works well with families and children alike.
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in dynamic caregiving settings.
• Prior nannying or babysitting experience is highly desirable; preschool or daycare experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
