Live In Nanny/Housekeeper Needed – Stony Point, NY

About the Family

A warm and welcoming family in Stony Point, NY is seeking a nanny for their 3-year-old son and 4 month old.

This role focuses on caring for their child, who has some well-managed medical needs as part of a structured care program. No medical knowledge or nursing experience is required. The family receives support through a state program that helps with the child’s care and provides partial funding and benefits for this role.

They are looking for someone kind, responsible and attentive who can provide consistent, loving care.

Responsibilities:

• Care for the 3-year-old child and 4 month old
• Assist with morning and after-school routines
• Engage in age- and ability-appropriate play and activities
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times
• Keep the child’s areas clean and organized
• Handle the child’s laundry
• Light household cleaning and organization as time allows (no deep cleaning)
• Assist with meal prep as needed (no cooking for the family required)
• Help maintain a smooth and organized household

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of childcare
• Strong references from previous employers
• Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality
• Comfortable working in a home
• Ability to be paid on the books (required due to government program)

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $1,500–$1,700 per week, based on experience and skills
• Benefits: Paid vacation, major holidays and PTO; 401K; Overtime
• Payroll: Position must be paid on the books via W2
